Is MockoFun a Free Face Swap Website? Our Review

MockoFun is an online design site with a face swap tool that it says is free to use. When we tested it, the face swap kept showing the message "[object] [object]", and we couldn't tell what the problem was. Maybe it only worked for premium members.

Update, October 2026: the face swap page now lists 10 free swaps a month. We haven't retested it yet, so the scores below are from our 2024 test.

Our score: 5.4/10

Pricing: 6/10

• MockoFun said some features were free, but we couldn't try them.
• Subscription: $9.99 a month to unlock all features.
• It isn't a dedicated face swap tool.

Features: 5/10

• Preset templates: you don't have to upload the original image.
• Simple steps: like other face swap tools, it takes three steps to swap faces in a photo.
• Limited: it only swaps faces in photos, and it didn't work on the free trial.

Speed: 5/10

Because the face swap didn't work for us, we couldn't measure its speed.

User experience: 5/10

Poor, because the face swap feature didn't work.

Popularity: 6/10

MockoFun had about 14,100 visitors a month in 2024, but only a few of them used the face swap feature.
